You may know Bruce as Ash, the much possessed, beat-up, blood spattered protagonist of the Evil Dead movies including Evil Dead, Evil Dead II 'Dead By Dawn' and Army of Darkness. These movies were all directed by Sam Raimi who later went on to fame and fortune as the director of the hugely successful Spiderman movies which also feature cameos by his favourite B movie leading man Bruce Campbell. It seems that Bruce has his foot in the door to the big time but that door keeps getting slammed shut while taking another toe with it. Mr. Campbell is well aware of his status as a B movie icon as evidenced in his first book,

. He has followed that up with a great book called
Make Love The Bruce Campbell Way and it is hilarious. I've recently acquired the audio edition and it is stellar. Its not some tight-assed old guy reading the book. Its Bruce and other actors who create what amounts to an old radio play complete with music and sound effects. It really is quite funny even for people who've never heard of Bruce before.
