My buddy Marc has been teasing me for months about how great the Butter Chicken roti at Gandhi Cuisine is. He described endlessly the creamy rich sauce, moist chicken and perfect potatoes wrapped in a freshly made roti shell. There were only two problems. Gandhi is located in Queen West which is a long haul and its expensive at $11.49. This week we made up our minds and worked out the logistics. Marc and Chad would order the roti for all of us; three butter chicken and one saag paneer.
The verdict? As good as advertised if not a little better. If you order be advised not to get your roti any spicier than medium. For those in the Toronto area I'll post some menu information as the only way I could obtain it is via fax from the restaurant itself. There are plenty of reviews on the web but no detailed menu descriptions.
